Walking into the home wasn’t the same. She had screwed up and she was readily willing to admit to it. She hadn’t bought into what Declan had said about Roman, and nor had she done him any favors by what happened with Nolan. All in all one bad decision piled upon the other. “You were right,” she proposed. “I, uhm, talked to Nolan again. I’d say sorry but I think you’re sick of hearing it from me by now.”

Remy had thankfully found that burying into work on the bakery had kept her mind busy. She wasn’t sure how exactly she managed to get herself into the current mess....well, beside’s her own inability to correctly make a decision. She had wanted to speak to Thea, but she knew who else was working there. If Thea wasn’t there like she predicted then fine. Upon walking in, she didn’t spot a customer and instead plopped herself in the empty seat beside Declan’s station with her bag on her lap. “ I was wrong.”
