whether it’s the way you bare your teeth when backed in a corner, your loyalty, or your tendency to act on instinct, your reoccurring theme is the dog. like mitski said “i get mean when im nervous, like a bad dog” or how halsey said “i won’t smile but i’ll show you my teeth” even when migos said “dance with my dogs in the night time” the essence of the dog runs through you. you’re tough and a quick draw on the outside, but if we got down to it we’d see you’re acting the only way you’ve ever known how. it doesn’t make you bad, survival is natural, your determination is commendable. i don’t blame you for the way you act when your back is against a wall, but please remember to not bite the hand that feeds.

Only by luck did she retrieve the message left by Nancy on the shop voicemail, and decided to head out and handle it herself. Ever since the big reveal things had been beyond strained between Aaron and Cj, and she only wanted to help keep some peace. Besides she owed Cj after their little arrest fiasco which somehow was miraculously wiped from the record. 

Truly at the last place, Sasha ever expected to revisit, she quietly slid in one of the double doors at the front of the darkened building. It took her only a matter of seconds before focusing on the spot where the singlehandedly scariest event in her life had taken place. It was if the entire scene played out before her again between Nancy and three vamps Aaron turned into cinder that night.  Taking a steadying breath she willed one step in front of the other until she made just outside Nancy’s door. The dread was overwhelming and rightfully so; no sooner did she knock did vampires come crawling out of the shadows from behind. 

Putting a little more strength into it she wrapped harder on the door not wanting a confrontation with the others. Finally, when the door swung open she took a step closer and breathed out a rather anxious manner, “Thank you for calling.  I’m here for Cj.”  Despite Nancy vulgar message, the call had been made out of concern. 

            “Course I am~” He cooed gently, leaning his head against her shoulder. Golden eyes closed as he relaxed against her, not caring at all if he impeded her knitting.
