💕 Mientras uno este vivo, uno debe amar lo mas que pueda💕

Seeing the representation at Benito’s halftime show made me tear up and swell emotions in my stomach and heart that I can’t begin to describe. I've spent some time in a self healing/self discovery journey over the years and I have found the answers I've been looking for in my family, the friends that support me, and the dreams I work for. In the warm beaches and calming crashes of the ocean shores as well as the muddy fields of grass that nurtures the earth that gives back when we treat it right. In the loud spaces of the festive music and definitely in the passion and affection that is crafted in the foods I consume from my motherland. I’m not a very political person myself, but his message goes so far and beyond that: about culture and unity, to stand against the oppressions of hate and cruelty with kindness, love and care to those around us. By learning from our past, our mistakes and pain and leaving something better for the future that can be something wonderful.

I'm happy and proud to be Puerto Rican, and I can only hope to share and spread the love and kindness I foster with those around me and those that cross my path.

• project pr relief (currently paused): dedicated to providing water directly to residents. donations currently halted as they sort through and deliver supplies.

• excinternational: an organization raising money for water supplies, necessities, senior care and families in need. if you know any family in puerto rico in need, you can provide their information to the organization and they will send in any supplies.

• pr x pr relief and rebuild fund: dedicated to providing clean water, food, fuel, renewable energy snd agriculture to people of the island.

• agua para nuestra gente: emergency relief initiative raising money for at least 100 families in pr to assist in water distribution, senior and child care, etc.

Scenario A: Paps find out that a certain celeb or celebs are in town and independently choose to seek out said celebs because they know that photos of them will sell, particularly if it's a situation where two celebs who are popular individually and even more popular as a duo are hanging out together in public for the first time in awhile. The celebs in question will be aware that if they're out in public a lot they will most likely be spotted and photographed by fans and that they may also get papped while out and about, but there is no direct coordination with either celeb's PR team to make sure that it happens.

Scenario B: A celeb's PR team reaches out to the paps and arranges to have them show up at a specific time and location, like for a totally random example let's say a beach, to capture specific photos that said PR team wants to put out there to further a specific narrative that they're shaping. These photo shoots are usually confined to a specific narrow time frame and/or one specific activity that the paps are supposed to capture, and while the idea is to maintain some deniability and make it seem like the paps just happened to be at the right place at the right time, it's usually pretty easy to tell that the hand of PR was actually pulling the strings.

As I said, I think there are some people who genuinely don't know the details of how these kinds of things work, but there is also some pretty transparent desperation from certain corners to pretend that certain situations are exactly the same as others when they're clearly not and there's no reason to entertain any of that.
