Fortune Telling Tier List:
F Tier -- Groal The Great.
They came to us to ask for divine guidance on their plans, to see their outcome. Back before they became bloated they were a scrawny little fellow so we weren't afraid of them. I told them their plan would succeed, but they would be killed by a weaver of half part. They left, rather angrily and came back a month later thrice the size and shot a soul at us. They also stink of bile.
This was at the beginning of my clairvoyant career, when we were leaving Hallownest at the beginning of the infection's resurgence. It was about halfway to Pharloom when we came across a rather foolhardy young bug who was convinced his blade could slice our elytra. We read his fortune -- he was destined for "greatness". We lied to him. He left us be. We wonder where he is now...
Not long before the last Conductor of Pharloom disappeared, one appeared in our cave.
They asked for, once again, divine guidance. He wanted to have security in the fact he was not going to die any time soon and he was, in fact, the best! They really said that! Haha... anyway, we told him that wasn't going to happen. He ordered some choristers to chip our elytra and cut our wings so we could never fly again! Haha! He didn't know we lost feeling there, we had to feign pain! Despite the injuries, it was wonderful to see them squirm in anger.
A Tier -- Child of Weaver and Wyrm
We remember her, Princess Hornet. We saw her on the balcony of the White Palace once, and never thought to talk to her in person, until lots of our visions included her. We were destined to meet eventually. During the Void Rise, she came to visit us for a reason she explained. We read her, and she (using a shamanic tune) read us. Our memories are most private and it felt a bit strange but still. The Heir of Hallownest.
S Tier -- The Silken Siblings
Early in the reign of the Weavers, a peculiar little construct and an even smaller one asked us for our guidance.
The eldest asked us whether their feelings were right. For so long they had hated wearing what their mother (or creator, we assume) forced them to wear. They thought they were impure, that they were not worthy of love from their creator as they did not think they fit the label they were given. We have some experience in the matter of... dysphoria, and we tried to help them through it. They came back a few times after, some times with their sibling, sometimes without. They figured out what they were. We are happy for them.
We saw their sibling a few times after, never got their name. She was always too keen to change the subject when I mentioned the eldest.
I hope the eldest is alright now. Wherever they are.
