Dax@Litwick: Say, this place isn't terribly unlike where I'm holed up at eh? Issue is, I don't feel like a creature of your kind is well suited for a frigid taiga of this sort. Even if that doesn't bother you, you can't really expect me to believe you know where you're going. Now I get the whole "not all who wander are lost" is something that might resonate with ya right now, but really, I've been stuck in places like this before. You're lost.
“I-I’m not-!” The small fire type seemed to sink into the snow as his words stopped, turning to see the tall water type standing over him. The frustration in his voice went away to a small whimper. He started to shake but not from the cold. “I-I-I know where I’m going! I already said that!” His fire lit back up melting the ice around and on his body, yet his body still melted down afraid. He looked ahead on his path, past the Dewott and into the snow that fell around them, “I know- I think I know... There is this feeling coming from over there.” His melty arm pointed as he slid past the taller pokemon. “I feel it in the ground a-and in myself. Even these...” He slid over to a nearby tree, or the husk of one, touching his small hand to it. Burned and blackened with no life to be seen like leaves had been vacant from it for years. “These trees, they look dead but I still feel that feeling inside of them. It’s warm. I-I may not know what it is but I know it’s coming from up ahead.” A bit of confidence shined in the little pokemon. He knew his path but not what waited at the end. This feeling, he was so sure he felt, was the only thing guiding him. For where else would a hopeless soul follow in this grey place than an ember of red in the distance.[[ @askawott ]]
