people freaking out about that quote in negative ways on both sides and i keep thinking -- some of the best ships have the longest development. i love steroline, and look how long THEY took? but i do agree it’d be nice if people stopped comparing stydia to ross/rachel. they were very very problematic and i’m just. stiles is a lot less annoying than ross tbh.

is it bad. i had a tiny moment of stalia who? i still love stalia i’ll still always love stalia but the way lydia looked at him and stiles at lydia i’m just nOT OKAY the feels. and of course lydia is gonna say ‘stiles saved me’ her brain is all shot to hell with mistletoe and trauma i’m sure once she’s awake she’s gonna realize it wasn’t jUST HIM but fuck my heart

The way Lydia looked at him made his stomach ache with the painful realization that he was never going to be lucky enough to be called hers. It was something that kept him awake at night, literally. All this time he spent thinking about her could have been used for something more productive, something that made him more interesting, something that maybe could have made him appeal to her. She was out of his league and he had to be okay with that.
