❤ How long have you been RPing?

Technically…it’ll be eleven years this year, including the random few hiatuses I took from this kind of writing in my mid-later teen years. On tumblr, I’ll be going on three.

♋ What drew you to this muse?

☏ What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?

Trying to stay true to the sparse canon we have and making him believable in the process.

We all know he’s gone completely off his rocker in the events of the first game and the hard part is taking game Steinman and deconstructing him to figure out how he got to that point. Everyone knows him as the “kooky-wacky-nutjob doctor” but I gotta believe he wasn’t ALWAYS that way and to try to figure out how he’d conduct himself pre-ADAM-induced insanity and pre-fall of Rapture can be challenging. Right now, aside from being a boss, he’s still technically a character with basically no information, so the possibilities are nearly endless when it comes to role-playing…until Ken shows up and either rains on the parade or is made grand marshal.

Also, not to make him TOO flawed to the point where he becomes an “anti-Sue” and unbelievable on that side of development. I tend to pack flaws onto characters and then take a step back and yell “THIS GOOD YET, TONY? A LITTLE LOWER?” and keep on revising as I keep writing.

Probably my own irrational fears, initially. For everyone who’s new or just isn’t aware, I was pretty much terrified of BioShock when I first played it back in the day, especially the Medical Pavilion and Dr. Steinman because gross, disgusting hospital and doctors who don’t give a fuck about their patients, amirite? What’s not creepy about that?
