[a stranger stumbles onto a makeshift camp and freezes]
"sorry sir, didn't mean to intrude! I'll be on my way- i-i just have to pass your camp"
Arthur had found himself to camp for the rest of the day after countless hours of travelling, anything to lower any suspicion from people who may recognise him for his past crimes. As he was sitting by the fire, a man walked very close beside camp. His gaze turned to theirs immediately, not expecting such a close encounter so soon.
Their demeanor made his guard lower somewhat immediately, this wasn't the first time he would bump into a stranger. "It's alright partner, you wouldn't be the first. Or the last."

To see Charles again brought a happiness he hadn't felt in a long time. He recalled their last departure, he was convinced he'd never see him again. It was good to see Charles was still supportive of him when they again met once more. Arthur gestured towards his horse, many weapons on its saddle, amongst one of them was the bow that Charles had given him back at Colter, all that time ago.
"And uh- thanks too for teaching me how to use a bow. Been coming to use when I've been off hunting."

The weather was clear, no wind, no rain, no clouds. Just the stars twinkling up above. Arthur decided he was going to simply sit and enjoy the beautiful view. He thought he'd be alone, but a familiar face decided to join him. He recalled her back at the bar. "Taking a break?"

A subtle nod came from him as she talks about his flaw of being stubborn, as well as a fool, she wasn't wrong . "I ain't disagreeing with ya there." he answered with that melancolic frown still formed on his weathered visage. "I am a fool. And I'm really sorry for letting you down."
Initially he was almost anticipating her getting upset about him still holding an image of her. Instead she seemed almost.... flattered by it, which surprised him. Her emotions and tone seemed to shift too, even if sadness was still laced within it.
Arthur couldn't help but find himself slightly grinning, she was adorable. "What ya mean? Ya still pretty to me, Mary." he responded honestly. He meant that too. To him, she was the most beautiful woman he had set eyes on. Eyes fell onto her face, and momentarily, her plush lips. God, his heart yearned for him to kiss her. But he knew that wasn't to be, nor was that ideal. Instead he continued on his previous sentence. "Its me who's gotten ugly....well, uglier." he once again went back to his self deprication. His finger idly ran along the newer scar along his right cheek that trailed under his neck. She wouldn't have seen it before.
Have you spoken to John since you left the gang?
@johnmarstonrp (throwing you in here since au)
Arthur nodded softly, responding to the question. "We have, saw them a few days ago. Abigail made a meal for us both, to celebrate the reunion. It's nice to see them living a normal...well, close enough to normal life."
