UNSCIENTIFIC. Carlos loves all branches of science, but his favorites are physics and astronomy. However, Carlos likes robotics as well (though he doesnāt dabble with it as an adult anymore).
His initial interest in robotics came from when he joined First Lego League in middle school. Basically, it shows kids how to design, build, and program robots. This started a life long interest in programming (which he know uses to design his own software for experiments), and is actually what got him interested into car and motorcycle mechanics.
In the late years of middle school and early years, he was absolutely fascinated with how cars worked and learned everything he could about them. He even joined auto shop class in high school.
Basically, his interest in science stems from a desire to understand how and why things work the way the do (which is why Night Vale freaked him out so much; it disrupted the entire way he understood the world which is pretty scary for anyone). His interest in auto mechanics is because he liked to understand how cars work. He loves physics especially because thatās everything works at a subatomic level.
