"Leave me alone!"
— [♔] The atmosphere was still, silent-- almost fatally, in a sense. The two were sneaking through one of the smaller corridors of Hamel castle, a bit regretfully by the princess, but once again her mind was solely set on one thing: have fun. Throughout her younger years she was always told that friends weren't important. Amusement wasn't important. Focus on your future as the princess of Hamel. But just somehow, in someway, the redhead convinced her to pull such a shenanigan off. As they were stealthily moving...
An accidental statement slipped her lips.
❝You and my brother... shouldn't be...--❞
She didn't mean to say that aloud. The relationship was puzzling to her, that's all, and as always, she sputtered out the wrong thing.
"What did'ya say--?"
❝A-ah, I didn't mean--❞
"If ya can't handle it, leave us alone 'bout it!"
His words caused her features to crinkle a bit. Did he mean that? Lithe hands were folded against her stomach, unnerved. ❝Elsword, I--❞
"Leave me alone!"
And there he went, bolting down the corridor. Why did he get so upset over her words? Relationships weren't something she understood one bit, so maybe that's why she was so confused... Her cerulean hues watched as he left, and even as he dashed away clearly irritated, leaving her behind, the guards were avoided.
There was no way to fix that, was there? The thought of her returning to her quarters after all that crossed her mind, but her movements acted against her ideas. Nervously, small steps were taken, and then they accelerated. With a hint of repentance, she called out as loudly as she could to avoid an echo--
❝I'm sorry!❞
