Elsaâs hand was so small in his, but she didnât have any fear of his strength. Elsa had come to trust him to only use his superhuman powers for the good of others. Never to harm her or anyone else. So she allowed him to lead her without a momentâs hesitation or worry. Her eyes glued to him, bright and curious to see what he had in store for her.Â
And he didnât disappoint.
She carefully untied the ribbon and pulled the gift from its basket. It was so soft! Not like anything made in Arendelle. Elsa ran a hand over the wool, a smile coming to her face just as soft as the texture of the rug. It was so simple... But that made her like it all the more. And heâd gone such a long way to get it... For her.Â
âHercules, this is.. Beautiful! Your mother made this? This is wonderfulâ She grinned up at him. âYou know, Iâve been wanting a new rug for in front of the fireplace. This is perfect.â
Elsa stepped forward, wrapping her arms around the manâs middle to pull him into a hug. Warm as someone with ice powers could give. Her cheek rested against his chest, comfortable and content.
She looked up at him a moment later, her lip curling playfully. âPass that on to your mother next time you see her. This is for you.â She stood up on her toes, pressing a gentle peck to his cheek. âThank you, Hercules. This is very sweet.â
