“It’s okay; there’s no need to panic. We’ll find another way out, all right? In these kinds of situations, we need to stay calm and focus. Can you do that, Amy?” HIS BLACK-GLOVED HAND MOVED TO HIS POCKET TO RETRIEVE HIS PHONE, planning to use it to call someone and mentally hopes that he can get service from here. He turned it on and frowned; NO SERVICE. “…”
“Y-yes, I can, Joseph...” He was right, panicking wouldn’t do any good. With a deep breath, she took a moment to calm down. Knowing that the detective had been in many difficult but different situations before, there should always be a solution, they only had to find one.
Looking around, there were certain things they should realize by now; the front door was locked, the front windows were barricaded, the apartment seemed to be abandoned (at least that was what Joseph told her before entering), and despite of all, there was still electricity around the building.
Perhaps there was something in the closets or cabinets that they could use, as the caretaker started to search in one of them.
Vic: The amusing park?
Chloe: Y-yeah...!
Vic: That place totally blows.
Amy then stared at him angrily.
Vic: -my mind. It's goin' to be fun with all of us.
