Junpei sat up slowly and looked up at Aerith. "Oh, shit! Did those fiends come back? I could have sworn I beat all of them!" A look of panic, worry and fear, appeared on his face as he began to reach for his broadsword with one hand and rubbing sleep out of his eyes with his other free hand.

"Me? You're talkin' to me?" Junpei pointed to himself, looking around the dorm and realized that Koromaru was the only other person in the living room. And Junpei knew that if Makoto was talking to Koromaru, he'd pet his fur and taking him out on a walk. ...right? Junpei grinned and used his finger to scratched his cheek sheepishly.
"I'm trying to make up for the times I was a dick and ass to you when you started leading us. I wanna make sure I have everyone's back--even if I am not that fast as Akihiko-san or smart like Mitsuru-senpai." Junpei explained, knowing full well he was used to wanting to be strong and not anything else. Of course, he wanted to thank Chidori for bringing him back to reality and knocking some sense back into him--or whatever was left in his brain.
Junpei leaned back on the couch and eyed the blue haired leader with careful eyes. "If I got your back, will you have mine?"

He could have sworn that he saw someone there, staring back at him and smiling at him. Maybe it was the sleep deprivation he had once in a blue moon. "Are you sure you didn't...?" Junpei stopped himself short, wondering if the sun was blinding him. He thought he saw Chidori... Junpei quickly shook his head, knowing that this was the life he had given her. She will always be with him, even if he can't see her.
Chidori was like the breeze that ruffled his hair up or made his clothes flap around. Junpei turned his attention back to Naoto and grinned. "I think I am just tired. Working with you all to save my friends seemed to make me exhausted."

"Now, if you are going to tell me my future, I know it's going to say," Junpei raises his eyebrows and begins to speak in a falsetto, "Iori-san--you will have a good life with a beautiful girl at your side. Also, you are going to find 30,000 yen in your pocket at the end of this week." He winked at Chidori, knowing full well he wanted to at least try to make her laugh. EVEN if it might be in the way of embarrassing himself.

A grin appeared on his lips as he crossed his arms at Minako's kind words. "You know, I could say the same back to you." He stated, taking off his hat and turning the bill in slightly. "I mean, you've got a busy life and anytime I try to talk to you, someone is ushering you away and make me wanna fight them to talk to you." He chuckled and quickly looked at Minako. "I was kidding! I promise!"
He quickly put his hat back on and lowered his hat over the top part of his forehead. Why did he feel like he did suddenly? As if he was being interrogated by Mitsuru even though it's Minako? One of his best friends!
"But, uh, I feel as if I could do more to try to talk to you. I should thank you for not letting my dickheadness get in the way of our friendship. ..." He groaned and slapped his cheeks with the palms of his hands. "Akihiko-san needs to get out of my head--I don't get so sentimental or wordy with other girls in the dorm."
