"n-no," she shook her head as she turned around to face them. mal appreciated them wanting to help, but she didn't want them to take the risk. she didn't want that kind of pressure on them, but also didn't want them hurt. "i don't want you do that, please," she looked up at that, practically begging with her eyes. she'd try her absolute best.

mal had felt rather restless and had in her state she had also forgotten to leave any notice that she’d be gone. of course she had no destination in mind once she changed into her dragon form. instead she just went flying over the water and over the forests of auradon. it felt so freeing and definitely provided a much needed distraction from royal life. so when she felt ready to return she slowed her flight down before changing back into her form as she stood on the balcony, human again. she couldn’t help but smile after that as the restless feeling had gone away. 

for a brief moment mal found herself reciprocating and actually kissing evie back. not even five seconds passed before she pulled back, “woah.”

“you know, of course i want you to design my wedding gown. there is no better designer or person for the job,” mal joyously exclaimed. there was honestly no one else she trusted since evie knew what she liked.
