Hiyori was not sure what this meant. Was she similar to Ichigo, like Rose had commented? Both hot-headed. Both incredibly fierce… and both always willing to pick up their sword over and over to protect their family.

The feline trotted over to the vizard and tilted her head. “Hmmm, one of these days I really aught to find a normal black cat and fake you out.” She hummed, settling onto her haunches, well within petting range if the little Rioter so felt inclined.

Wait. Yoruichi hadn’t already done that? Back thirty-nine years ago or so (not that Hiyori was keeping track), she had ranted for three hours at a black cat only to discover that Pixie belonged to someone other than Kisuke. Also, Pixie the black cat was kind of a bitch, too. She only wanted to be fed and scratched at Hiyori whenever she tried to get her out of the rain. She sounded so familiar.

Anyyyyway, if Yoruichi wasn’t going to remember this embarrassing incident, Hiyori wouldn’t really elaborate either.

“Ya mean waste, right?” Hiyori was already pulling on her jacket and stretching out her sword arm. Rolling her shoulders - - her heart pumping with the adrenaline of an amazing battle.

She literally, did not give a single fuck that Kisuke or Shinji or Kensei or any of them were in the room and transformed RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM ALL! NAKED!

She didn’t even have long hair then ‘ta hide her 4iu649 and 684@#us! 

Of course, I hadn’t ever... like... come across anyone that comfortable with their nakedness before and got laughed at for turning bright red. I fucking DID NOT FAINT!

Hiyori was rightfully suspicious of the cat who could turn up naked at any inopportune time that she saw fit. Of course, the promise of candy was too great a thing to miss. She reeeeallly wanted that candy! She had to earn more than Shinji and rub it in his face. Hiyori held her little basket and then inched closer to the Flash Mistress.
