         He is a good kid, to say the least -- Jinhong earnestly attempts his most strenuous endeavors to obtain a decorous demeanor just as he’s been taught his entire life. He’s courterous, polite and meek, in the sense that even when he enters a house of someone familiar, of someone’s son he’s tutoring for a few months now he still bows his head each and every time according to the common manners and he still uses the honorifics suitable, disregards dropping them as an option. He ventures to leave a positive impression even if he has got nothnig to offer aside his perplexing and ungainly manners, his maladroit self and nothing of grace -- therefore, it is not unlikely to witness him bowing once again (for god knows which time) in front of his senior without a minute passing ever since he removed his shoes at the entrance.  “Good afternoon, hyung-nim!”

         “... hyung -- what the hell is this?!”

         Long hours, long tedious hours has brought the young lad into an extent of languishment (mostly mental) which he has yet to experience, never before -- if there was only one thing which he expected for was his girlfriend’s-- no, fiance’s embrace to soothe him down. It was astounding how she managed to pacify him regardless of the duress or apprehension or stress he might feel the moment she wraps her arms around him and glides her tender fingers in his skin. He misses her sylphlike figure in his arms, the delicacy of her smile that gives him strength each and every time again and again when he needs it the most. He has an intense feeling of longing for his loved one, whom he’s been separated from fo during the workday so when he finally entered their place there was no man happier and content than him. Albeit the sight he witnessed has him shocked, overwhelmed, stupified.  Her sylph figure holding a smaller one in her arms -- a baby -- an infant in he caring solicitude filled embrace (at that point he cannot discern the gender, not that it mattered much to him). He is entirely thunderbolted, with no doubt. It reaches an extent when he’s unable to speak; his lips are parted however no sound emits aside his barely audible inchorenet ponders of what the hell is a baby doing there, he simply stands still in his place without even removing his shoes or taking a pace forward inside their apartment... there is nothing he can utter to express his mental convulsion aside an anserine inquiry which isn’t given a second nor first thought over.  “Did one of our comdoms break and I didn’t know...?”

         Unsettled, that is what you can refer to while explaining Jinhong’s recent behavior. It has been going for weeks now -- the type of feeling that nothing in particular is wrong neither is it right and in the pit of his stomach something... something unexplained and unearthly causes the urge to sob or throw everything and everyone away -- and in his core he is simply upset, for no apparent reason -- he just longs for something unknown or perhaps nonexistent and it is evident in the way he has been pulling himself and his body towards the simplest actions and tasks of everyday’s life as of lately. Penitence fills his up as the scorn (or pout, or gloom, or impuissance, whatever his expression exactly is) becomes more patent than ever. He’s seated over the couch, but his body does not belong there. Could it be the duress he’s had from everything lately, or it being piled up to a point where it suffocates him? The only thing he’s certain about is that he should not be here, even if he hadn’t visited her in a while... it would have been better to remain distant than pull on such a facade and bother her with his nonsense. “... sorry --”

         The recent events has brought Jinhong’s attention towards his relationship with his girlfriend. Areum... she tried so hard. How has he been so oblivious to the fact that she took strenuous endeavors just to study a little more and comprehend his world, which was divergent than hers in various aspects and he, in return, did what? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He felt as if his reverence of her was not expressed properly therefore, in one bold moment and a sundry types of ingidients scattered on the counter he decided that it was time to step up his game and offer her a little bit of rest. Yes, he was cooking. Never has he cooked before... (unless cereal in a bowl of milk could be counted as his masterpiece) -- the youngster could not be trusted with fire or knifes. Nevertheless, with a few broken eggs, disunited tools and one partly dirty apron, he found that following instructions of cooking might not be as nerve wrecking as it seemed to be at first. Albeit time was running short on his side, he was nearing finish however Areum’s arrival was soon to come, and he could feel his heart pulsing quickly with luridness. He just hoped to be able to surprise her just as planned.
