   quinn kept his eyes focused on the canvas set up in front of him with a look of interest, but also uncertainty. it is funny that he assigned the project for the art club, but he was drawing on a blank. he had a pretty good idea about what he was going to do originally, but he was suddenly in an artist block.

    he frowned at the canvas, even though he knew full well that staring blankly at the canvas wasn’t going to do anything. he needed to focus on something else.

    or maybe, someone else.

    his eyes caught sight of a familiar figure passing by the Cafe where he was lounging in the patio area. he rested his elbow on the table and smirked, “hey, handsome. come here often?”

    he scrunched his nose in amusement, knowing full-well the other male would play right into it. the two of them had this back and forth for a while now. it was fun for the both of them.

at the bubble festival, ball pit, w/ @rksakura

 he was twenty-two. legally and matter-of-factly, he was an adult. lee hwitaek had a good job, he paid his bills, he owned a car, he was still in school, but he was still an adult. 

  however, at the sight of the ball pit, all matureness and adulting he may have on his belt didn’t stand a chance. 

    they had time limits for the pit and there was a line. hwitaek was basically buzzing with excitement. he couldn’t remember the last time he had been in a ball pit? probably when he was much younger. probably someone’s birthday party?

   he couldn’t keep still. his entire body was still feeling the drugs in his system. it had been nearly a week and a half since he took the drugs again. he felt sick to his stomach just thinking about it. he hadn’t touched the other vial that still sings in his nightstand. he can hear it, calling to him.

   what made it worse was beauty was here. to make up for him bringing her home that night some time ago, she wanted to read to him and usually, he’d happily listen to her read it, but not now, not while he felt like this. he couldn’t tell her no though. he wouldn’t admit it, but he wanted to see her.

   she didn’t know. he was too embarrassed to tell her. he even requested that briar lie to her. the guilt was eating him up, but she believed he was a good man. maybe that was because she didn’t truly know what he did to end up this way.

  it was a very good thing that speedy was a patient individual. he rested his elbow on the window of his car. he was sitting in the passenger’s seat with ariel in the driver’s seat. he was teaching the other how to drive, something speedy was very good at. he enjoyed himself when he was behind the wheel and surprisingly, a lot of people didn’t know how to drive. it put a damper in his whole business, both his day job as a mechanic inside the condominium, as well as when he got his street races set up. not a lot of people in the game could afford cars just yet.

    “ariel..., i know you’re new at this, but you can go a little faster,” speedy offered, raising an amused brow at the other, “this car can go two hundred, for the record, but please don’t go that fast. i just got this beauty where i wanted it.”

they're talking about the straw
