An achievement, he is sure, most would find worthless yet, it excites him for he is sure that, at least in one field, he’s sure to succeed. Doesn’t matter if that happens to be the Summoner’s Rift rather than the world behind his closed door.

He pushes his back towards the chair, closing his eyes as his minds drifts off to his current obsession, something that has been keeping him awake at night and busy during the day. Someone, rather than something.He sighs, his fingers typing fast on the keyboard before he even has a chance to stop himself and soon, he’s staring at the familiar site page that has turned into the bane of his existence. Emerald Terrace Apartments is small but comfortable building in downtown LA. Built in 1912 by an eccentric millionaire, the Terrace was originally intended to be a safe home for the children of wealthy families striking out on their own. Over time, it’s target clientele has shifted from high class to low rent and back again, finally, in the late 80s, settling somewhere in the middle. It’s central location and fairly safe neighborhood makes it a desirable living place, while it’s old building and the problems that go along with that have kept the rent from going overly high. It has become home to a number of different people from an eclectic range of backgrounds and social brackets. 

Emerald Terrace was recently bought by a powerful real estate firm which took the time to update and upgrade everything. The building now boasts a beautiful new pool, including a hot tub, a wooden sauna, a state-of-the-art exercise room and a cyber cafe. It has 5 floors, including the ground floor, which begin being numbered on the second level. There are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments on floors 1-3, with 4 and 5 bedroom penthouses on the 4th floor. The ground floor has the lobby, exercise room and cyber cafe, along with a lounge room which can be rented out for parties. The pool and hot tub are on the roof. The ground floor, 1st and 2nd floors have parking on the same level.
