fleshing out Mim has been p cool bc it’s giving me an alternate perspective on how Moth and his actions have affected his family. not that getting a feel for Mim and her personality, beliefs, interests, etc. hasn’t been interesting otherwise. but it’s really neat seeing how growing up with Moth as her brother has shaped her... how he goes right while she goes left (to be different, to avoid him). but she isn’t his exact opposite either, if that makes sense. they’re complementary.

Miriam "Mim" Lowman Age: 19 Birth Date: 10/30/1995 Height: 5'8" Body Type: mild athletic (keeps in shape, but does not do sports) Family: mother, father, estranged older brother (Aaron "Moth" Lowman) Ability: command over the dead, but unlike her brother her powers deal with the corporeal body instead of ghosts. Mim can reanimate corpses. they generally come back as mindless husks ready to do her bidding (should she ask it) but if a body's spirit still resides in this plane, they will forcibly be returned to their body. in the latter case, they're an intelligent zombie. Personality: skeptical, critical... not open to the strange and unusual, given who she's related to. can be bitter and pessimistic but generally means well. fiercely caring towards friends and loved ones but not the nicest or most giving person to people outside of her close circle. Mim is vaguely aware of her power over the dead, having experienced incidents when she was younger. if she ever realizes the truth, she will make a point never to use them.
