1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them? That his younger sister finds out he’s been up to some really shitty and illegal stuff. It’s not something someone would point out unless they were familiar with him... enough to know how he’s placed Arcy on a pedestal and deeply cares about her opinion. He would likely lash out at whomever (barring family) for indicating he’s human enough to feel insecure.

2: If your OC wants to buy a firearm, what it might be for? For defense or to commit a murder. Emilio has no qualms about firing a gun and takes pleasure in it.

3: Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how? Oh definitely! Emilio is the picture of a perfect son and brother when his family is involved, always respectful and caring. But he’s a demanding and sadistic boss to his subordinates (never showing any sort of true emotion) and an outright demon to anyone that has crossed his path.

4: Would your OC want to involve themselves in humanitarian work ? If yes, then for what? If not, then why not? Nope. Emilio is far too self-serving to get involved with humanitarian work. If he did, he’d be quick to do something corrupt with it, while using the outward facade of charity to keep his image clean.

5: How would your OC generally react to someone being verbally abusive towards them for no apparent reason? There wouldn’t be any sort of outward reaction, but Emilio would be cataloging the experience for later... when he could exact revenge in the most humiliating way possible.

6: Does your OC have a realistic image of their own intelligence? Nah. But Emilio doesn’t have a realistic image of himself in general. It’s all tinged with ego and self-absorption.

7: Does your OC have any irrational phobias? Nope. He considers himself above such things.

8: How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents? Very loving. He’s respectful towards his parents and they are proud of him. But the Zapateros worry after their son. Emilio was a problematic child. While they are happy that he has matured into a more outgoing individual, they are wary of the change and unsure if it was a sincere one.

9: Does your OC feel a pressure to achieve or are they content and calm with doing what they can at the moment? Yes, but he’s the one pressuring himself to be successful. Emilio is extremely ambitious and greedy. He does not know when to stop and is obsessed with obtaining accolades, property, money, and power. He’s never satisfied, despite having achieved a great deal.

10: Does your OC guard their emotions by being tough? If not how would they? He guards his emotions, but it’s just through good ol fashioned deception. He’s a skilled liar and actor.  

11: How would your OC react to hearing they’re adopted? He’d probably snap out of fury... he would no longer see his family as his family, growing angry that he had poured so much love and devotion onto “strangers.” Emilio would completely withdraw from his parents and sister, growing cold if they were to interact with him. 

12: What is one of the most primary things your OC feels that is missing from their life? More. That’s it really... Just. More. He’s too greedy to be appreciative of what he already has and seeks to obtain what he does not own.

13: What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most? Anything where he is vulnerable or not in a position of power. Emilio detests being weak and subordinate to others.

14: If your OC gets into a fight with their best friend, would they wait for their friend to make up with them, or would they try to make up with their friend? Emilio doesn’t have friends. If he did, he would wait for them to make the first move towards reconciling... since he would be of the firm belief he wasn’t at fault.

15: Does your OC consider themselves a good person? The man considers himself a saint. Unironically, too!

16: Is your OC good at giving others validation of their feelings and making them feel understood? Outside of family, no. He doesn’t even bother. His own feelings and their validation are the only thing that matter to him.

17: Does your OC suffer of any mental health issues? He exhibits characteristics of Antisocial Personality Disorder, but has never been canonically diagnosed with anything. As is, I have been hesitant to label him as mentally ill because of my unfamiliarity with mental health issues.

18: What kind of intrapersonal values does your OC have? (values about their self, what makes them feel like a valid person) Being successful, being rich, having others under his complete and utter control. Dominance and strength are very important to Emilio, as well as being the most intimidating person in the room.

19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most? Having power over others. Nothing boosts his ego more than dominating another wholely and completely. He gets off on humiliation and submission.

20: Does your OC hurt others often unintentionally? If yes, how? He probably has. Most likely through being deceptive.

21: Does your OC hurt others often intentionally? If yes, how? Definitely. Through the above, as well as through humiliation, emotional manipulation, and physical abuse. 

22: How does your OC usually show affection? Are they openly romantic or more restricted with their affectionate emotions? It depends on who the recipient of the affection is. Physical affection tends to be reserved for his family, with his sister receiving the most hugs or forehead kisses. He’s affectionate with his parents through his actions... helping out around the house or gifting them with trips or items they needed or wanted.

Emilio is not romantic with his partners. He comes off as distant and makes gestures that are grand but empty. There's only been one person he has felt passionate about, but it was too much... eventually leading to her death.

23: Does your OC tend to hide something about their personality/essence when meeting new people? If yes, what? The better question is what isn’t Emilio hiding upon meeting someone new. His sadism, illegal and/or inhumane endeavors, and personal delusions about himself and others aren’t things he openly shares.

24: How would your OC react if they got humiliated by someone in a group of people? Similar to the above verbal abuse question. Remain as stoic as possible and plan/exact a harsh revenge when the opportunity presents itself. Emilio will not stand for being the butt of a joke.

25: How would your OC process the grief caused by the death of a loved one? Harsh denial. When Emilio killed his girlfriend, he was overwhelmed with grief. It was enough that he kept her spirit from crossing over into the afterlife by forcibly binding her to the nearest object --his gun, and the murder weapon in question. It is likely he would do the same for another loved one if the circumstances let him. He would be selfish enough to keep them around so he wouldn’t have to say goodbye.

26: What is the most intense thing your OC has been battling with? Guilt over murdering the love of his life... continually hiding how terrible he really is from his unsuspecting family --namely his sister.

27: Does your OC practise any kind of escapism? If yes, what kind? Yes and no? He certainly has a detachment from reality through his belief that he is a death god incarnate, meant to judge the deeds of other. But that’s a full-blown delusion... as opposed to immersing himself in a book.

28: How would your OC react if a bully stole their lunch money in high school? Disproportionate retribution... most likely corner them in private and put them in the hospital. Canonically, Emilio was never bullied in high school, or in elementary or middle for that matter. His classmates were terrified of him.

29: How does your OC behave on the face of a conflict? He is coolheaded, taking the time he needs to think out his next set of actions and proceed from there.
