Hyuu took the Ranger School route in White Forest - so 10 weeks of schooling and 10 weeks of training
He started in January, so he should graduate by the end of the month and be a full-fledged Ranger!!

He hasn’t been on his phone all that much because signal usually sucks lmao but he tries to check every once in a while and gets lucky sometimes

Hyuu and Kei are super close despite their age difference and he’s just. He’d do anything for her
If he thinks that he sucks at everything he’s wrong he’s the best big brother
He was really close to his grandfather because he essentially raised them
He was a pokemon breeder, and he gave Kei a purrloin
The purrloin didn’t really like Hyuu but is very fond of Kei
His grandfather also gave him a pidove when he was younger.
Education/Occupation
Hyuu finished high school with Nate and Mei and then went on his journey with Nate to get Kei’s purrloin back
Afterwards, he wasn’t really sure what he wanted to do
He’s been doing some odd jobs and took night classes at a community college
but yeah he realized it wasn’t his thing
Recently he’s considered becoming a pokemon ranger!!

I see Hyuu being very protective of the women in his life in general to a certain extent? He doesn’t want to be overbearing but he’s the “okay, it’s safe, follow me” type of guy - and I think that just comes with like… being an older brother
(but i’m sorry i think he has an unrealized crush on mei if nnot now then in the past)
he’s also very short-tempered of course, and hahaha i think as a nod to Pom’s Hue he sees Cheren as a senpai he wants to impress
Also I think that he’s BROS with Nate and when Cheren looks at them interacting, it kinda reminds him of Touya and him? Nate being a nicer and friendlier version of Cheren and Hyuu being the one that charges into things and asks questions later
Hyuu is an emmetrope so no glasses for him (until he’s old anyway)
His music taste is basically korean pop, japanese rock, and the occasional euro electro this is fantastic
