How long? How long, how long?
by now, it could have only been soĀ long. Sheās somehow tucked on in to every crevice and useful bend. A leg threaded over one and through the two of his, arms furled about his chest and folded all together like a prayerā now i lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keepā and as for her Lord, her darling Golden God with his fluff and his words; sheās fully prepared for him to go and keep all of her.
how long?
Warm. The sunās rays on her cheek, Leafās chest and the soft of his shirt pressed to the other. Warm. That specific scent, wafting through the air and off of her boy, the only truly recognizable sensation tied into the adventure that had been their day.Ā

Better, it feels much better when she furls back into a puzzle piece, fitting in all of Leafās abandoned areasā but this time, instead of dozing right on off with the sunās rays aimed at them⦠well, Evangeline pecksĀ little bits of kisses, along the softest bits of his throat, further; over mountains of collarbones, valleys of skin and sin, until affectionate venture ends with a peck to the very corner of his sleepy smirk.
