Despite how late it was, you found yourself still holed up in your club room, an action that required plenty of asking and at one point a decent amount of begging to your schoolâs janitor. In the end he allowed it, and you sure part of the reason for this was because Taehyunâs reputation preceded him, an attribute of his you had benefited from many times before.
The table in front of you was covered in glitter, scraps of paper, and pens of about every color on this Earth. However, what was most important on the table was the poster that had been created. A poster to advertise the astronomy club.
Taehyun crept behind you peering at the poster. He tilted his head to side âthe words look a little crookedâ he pointed out before breaking out into a devilish smile.
You paused cutting the paper star you had been working on to take a look at the poster before smacking Taehyunâs arm âDonât say things like that, now itâs in my headâ you complained âand it is not crooked.â Still you couldnât help but continue to scrutinize the poster.
Taehyun laughed âdonât worry their not crookedâ he patted your shoulder before going to sit down âI was just messing with you.â
âNow, why was that necessary?â
Taehyun shrugged in response but his smile clued you into the reason. He turned his attention to the flyers you both had made earlier before you had started working on the poster âdo you believe in this astrology stuff?â
It was your turn to shrug âI think itâs pretty interesting to read about.â Which was the reason the two of you decided to plan an event involving astrology and astronomy in an effort to promote the club. âAnd if your wonderingâ you added, eyes trained on the paper star you were cutting âI did take the liberty in finding out whether we were compatible or notâ
You looked up, not expecting to hear the amount of anticipation that was present in his voice. You smiled, focusing once again on your paper star. âThat is for me to know and for you to find out.â Taehyun frowned, seemingly annoyed. âWhat? If you want to know that badly itâs not like you canât find that information yourself.â
Taehyun looked out the window, âWell astrology or not, I think you might be my soulmateâ
Oh how quickly had he turned the tables back on you. âWhatâ Why?â
âWell, thatâs for me to know and for you to find out.â
âYouâre being meanâ you whined. You were sure heâd tell you eventually, he always did, but you wanted to know now.
Taehyun laughed in response, making his way over to you. He placed his arms gently on your shoulders leaning down so his head was level to yours ânow letâs get you home, itâs late.â
