Anyway, I feel like Indya is about to sit Darren down and agree with him 100% that Rah is not the best thing for Dira rn. They both have a lot of healing to do after this situation and it should be done separately. But she’s also going to hit him with that “remember when I had to crack you with that damn baseball bat because you couldn’t keep your hands to yourself?” And while I feel Rah’s actions should not be excused at all whether his intent was harm to Dira or not (can’t speak on his intent for Ryker but harm seems to be it), I think that conversation would give Darren a little more perspective and have him go talk to his daughter about the mental abuse and trauma she just endured. Also small side note, I do kinda feel bad that the focus keeps landing on the busted lip more so when the situation gets brought up because that’s the one thing that actually was an accident and he was just trying to move her so the gun wouldn’t go off and didn’t intentionally hurt her, a busted lip is a busted lip either way though so on the other hand I get it. Can’t say you meant no harm and expect people to believe you when you literally inflicted harm on both parties. BUT, and I could be wrong…the busted lip may be the focus because it seems to me that Hope may be the only one that somewhat knows about the gun (Dira soft confirmed but never said yes of no) because neither Indya nor Darren mentioned it and I feel like Rah would have been baked into a pie before Dira even got to the garage if that detail made it into the conversation.

All of what you said is valid AND makes total sense. There is a growing sentiment that Indya would be a lot more understanding than Darren and its certainly looking like it, but with one caveat: do they know about the gun!!!

So here's what we know: Apparently Rah is in the garage telling Darren everything after requesting to come clean with the help of his new therapist, The Good Doc™. Darren asks TGD if that's everything to which TGD replies "as far as I know". Which means, Rah did all the talking and told Darren what he'd already told TGD. But if Rah included the gun part, wouldn't Darren have sent him to the morgue immediately?
