Ly'lac and Harry's birthday (and Harry the void player)
Hey everyone, been a while but I'm still a huge homestuck and actively reading hsbc so now I'm here for a new theory I've neen thinking about.
Recently we've been introduced to dear, sweet, precious Ly'lac [REDACTED] of the Final Applause.
Her introduction specified that day was her (nymph equivalent) birthday, and so August 1st was officially the new homestuck funny number (confirmed by hsbc team as well)
Now where does Harry Anderson Egbert go in there? That's the point.
We don't know.
Harry's birthday was mentionned a few times, only in the epilogues so far though.
First screenshot was during his 5th birthday, the mention of summer is important.
On the second screenshot, it's the same day timeline-wise where epilogue candy ends and hs^2/hsbc candy starts.
In hsbc candy, two days pass before we get to the conversation Ly'lac tries to have with Vrissy, and if the timelines match (same day, but years and timelines of difference), two days after Ly'lac's birthday.
With Harry being born on a summer day, and the introduction of Ly'lac being on August 1st, my guess would be that they were born on the same day.
Now, to go on the second subject: why do I mention Harry as a void player?
The thing is, everything that has been happening to Harry was always considered "irrelevant." His bedroom was examined without him in it, every other omega kid had problems during the war (kidnappings and such) but not him, even when Vriska at the end of act 1 decides to take the kids away with her, he seems like he's being forced by Vrissy to follow along (he's more of a wimp than Tavvy!)
Birthdays in homestuck are important, especially when you're the son of John Egbert, so having your own birthday being forgotten by everyone really screams the idea that you're not the protagonist of a story, might not even be the protagonist of your own story.
Which is why I think Harry is void-coded (he sure got that from his mom.) and the fact his birthday is shared by a new character, a new species we've never met before, from a timeline that was described to us as "the relevant timeline," meanwhile harry was born in a "black hole," all of this falls into the idea he may be Void.
(For the class, I'm unsure yet. I've been thinking about a Knight for the simple idea of a "person who works in the shadows to help others," like a kid who would help for costumes and makeup backstage for the kids who do theatre class (go read the influencers I'm begging you.)
