First off, it’s been a while. I’ve been super busy with health issues and family stuff and I’ve gone through a name change here on Tumblr, but I got a list for ya.

Out of 174 (I was going to do more but I think 174 is enough) authors, writers, essayists, screenplay writers (screenplayers? Screenplayists?), poets, and novelists, this is what I found out:

54 of them are/were female (roughly 31%) and 120 are/were male (roughly 69%).

And for the signs:

Aries: 7 (4%)

Taurus: 14 (8%)

Gemini: 21 (12%)

Cancer: 14 (8%)

Leo: 14 (8%)

Virgo: 16 (9%)

Libra: 13 (7%)

Scorpio: 12 (6%)

Sagittarius: 11 (6%)

Capricorn: 16 (9%)

Aquarius: 26 (15%)

Pisces: 10 (8%)

So, yeah. The percentages are kinda weird because of how many I looked up and whatnot, but it’s just a rough number anyway. Most of the people I found were dead guys, but I threw in some more newer, alive ones. These are just published works, too. And ‘famous’. It’s not the best list, really, because there are so many genres and there are really great yet under-appreciated works too. Plus a good book is about a person’s tastes and fame really doesn’t mean the same between me and Google. Like, I didn’t know even half of those people yet they’re apparently famous. It’s all biased, I don’t know. Rambling, whoops. 

Aries: Swings their arms.

Taurus: Under the table at dinner with your parents.

Gemini: Pancake hand holding / Awkward. Switches hands a lot.

Cancer: Reassuring hand squeezes

Leo: Pulling you with them, walks a bit / far ahead of you.

Virgo: Kisses the top of your hand.

Libra: 24/7 Hand holding. Waffle holding. Always really comfy. 10/10 hand holding skills.

Scorpio: Holds your hand literally all of the time.

Sagittarius: Rubs their thumbs against the back of your hand.

Capricorn: Doesn't. Loops their arm around yours.

Aquarius: Holds your arm instead / wraps their arm around your neck (depending on height).
