Conditioning is important, along with strength training. This provides a body that is ready to train in fight sports. Although our Consumer Culture glorifies a thin body, a body without fat can’t get the job done if it has to defend itself. Fat is stored energy that is used when needed. Constant training keeps fat to a reasonable level, supporting a body conditioned to fight.
