                                               "…I was wondering if you had this book," he murmurs, pulling out a piece of paper with the book title on it. 

      Taking the piece of paper from the other male, and then back up at him, "Ah! Yes, I do, actually! I just got it this morning! I'll be right back!" he said, scurrying back to get the book from the back. Coming back out he smiled, "I just entered it in to the system, too!" he grinned, "Is this all you'd like?"

✿ ; "I want to go thrifting." Doesn’t help. Doesn’t even think of helping. "Maybe I can find some new picture books! Or games! Or toys!" Smiles wide at the idea. Doesn’t understand that thrift shops aren’t regular stores. "Is that your store over there?" Points rudely.

     "You should! It's fun. I'm sure you could find all those things. Even clothes. Thrift stores have a variety of everything, actually. Ah! Yep, that's it." And it's okay, he's not offended, and probably would've declined help anyway. "I have to unlock the door though, I haven't opened yet!"

✿ ; "What’s thrifting? Can I go thrifting? Oh oh, first I want to see all the picture books in your store! I have money, I do!" Pulls out wallet. "I have two dollars, and a big coin." Mom didn’t let him keep big bills in his wallet. "Come on, come on!"

    He chuckled again, "It's where you go to thrift stores and shop for specific or random things! You just say thrifting since you to go multiple ones. Okay! This way. It's that way around the block. It's called McCanes Bookstore." Picking up the box again he headed in that direction.

✿ ; "Wow, you must be really strong to carry all those books." Looks over the stranger’s shoulder. "Do you have any picture books? I love looking at pictures!"

     Bastian laughed some, as he heard and well, felt the stranger. "Ah, no, not in this box. At my store though, I do, if you'd like to come see. This is a box I found while thrifting." he shrugged.

    "Are... you serious? That looks expensive.."                Bastian swallowed slowly, as his mouth began to water.

       Bastian’s eyes widened instantly, and the food he was chewing on was almost lodged into his throat. But crisis averted! He swallowed.                             “O-Onigiri…”

      He laughed a bit. This girl was funny, "I made them of course..Sure." he said, handing her one. "They're tuna." he said, smiling. "Who are you?"

     ❝ WHAT’RE YOU EATING?? ❞ don’t be so loud, child.
