just me being me

Hi there again, well today I have learned something very prevalent. Friends are supposed to have your back and be nice too you right? Well in a lot of people's cases like mine, that's not true. The "friends" that you say you have are really not your friends but really your bullies. You see you hang out with them because you think that they are cool and they like you. That's not true at all, they say they are and they say they do but really they have you there so they can make fun of you. You see you can't fly like an eagle when you are hanging around a bunch of turkeys. The people you are hanging out with now are a bunch of turkeys that bully you that you think are cool and your friends. In reality you should be hanging out with the Eagles, (which are the people who talk to you nicely and like you for who you are) they are your real friends.

Hello once again I'm here about the bowling tourney I am currently at right this second. Now usually I would just be getting up and doing my chores so I can get to church on time but today I'm in spring hill Florida trying to win this tourney. Now as you should know today is Sunday and I will be trying to bowl into the top two spots of a bowling tourney out of three thousand people so I can be in the giant national tourney for a lot of scholarship money and some scouts for college. Now today I haven't bowled yet but I seem ready and I feel great. It's is 6:50am and I am wide awake and ready to take on anything that is in front of me and in an hour and ten minutes only ten pins will be in my way. Hopefully God will lead me in the right direction for this tourney and give me the sportsmanship to congratulate the other person who won even if I got third.

I welcome you back to my blog and I'm here talking about that bowling tourney again. Now I so happen to be at the tourney right now. I got here in Friday to stay here overnight to get rest and I was here yesterday at 8am bowling. Now you are saying wow 8am that's early for Saturday and I say it's better that way. Bowling in the morning is the peak time because your brain is at its peak time and you will be able to stay sharp and not tired for the whole day. Now the highlight of my day was bowling a 234 in my fourth game and sadly my sixth game was my low point shooting a 145. Let's just say on that last one, I was bowling very very bad. All together in six games I did not do that bad but I did what I needed to do so far so I can have a chance. Now there are two days of bowling for Pepsi one Is for handicap the other is not.

Now bowling is actually really fun and a lot of people in this world enjoy it as a sport. I am definitely one of those people and I definitely am good at it. Now all the states in the USA have a tournament called Pepsi every year. Now to get in Pepsi you have to bowl well over your average score and be able to pay for it. If you do that you will be in Pepsi. Now since Pepsi is a nation wide tourney the top out of each state and out then at the national Pepsi tourney and that is where we crown the champion for Pepsi in the Country. Now every year I get to compete in this tourney and sometimes u get 4th or 5th. But I have never been able to reach the top 2 so I can go to that national tourney.

So in 3/4 weeks I will be graduating high school. Not going to lie I'm pretty scared. From what I've seen college is what you make of it and life, well it just stinks. Life pushes you around until you subside to its ways and it will keep pushing you to do a lot of stuff you just don't want to do. That's why I have Jesus. I'll pray to Jesus to lead me in the right direction everyday and help me to get everything done without any trouble. So what am I going to do about graduating? Well I really want to graduate a lot! There has been the thought of what if I stay back? What if I fail one class so I can play football and basketball again? There has also been that thought that if I fail then my grandma would disown me and definitely don't want that. I love my school and I love everyone there and it makes me think what am I going to do without them? They're essentially my family and I will miss them all. Hopefully I will be able to make something of my life and of college and be something greater than people think I can be and I will show them all up. Thank you for reading.

Basketball is over folks. Our season came to a close on March 13 and 14. We went to the state tournament in third place with hopes to get into the semifinal game. It was a tough road but we did it. We played west meadows in the first round and played okay and we won it by 10 or so. We played Souls Harbor in the second round, a team that beat us twice in the regular season, and we destroyed them by 20 points! We moved on to the semis which as you know is one of your harder games to play temple who also beat us twice in the season and we beat them by 10! So we were in the championship game!! We were not expected to be there but we got there and we got to play Souls Harbor again (it was double elimination from the second round on). So we played them the second time and won by 4. So we played well in all four games and won the championship so I mean a three peat is pretty good for a third place team right?

So this past year I've been in my last year of basketball and it's coming to a close. The regular season is ending today with a game against Soul's Harbour at there place. They are trying to get the number one seed and to do that they need to beat us. No matter what we do we will be in third. So basically whether we win or lose it only would change who we play in the second round. First though we have to get through the first round and it's not a given that we will get through. All we have to do is work as a team and do what we need to do to win all of the games. States next week and it'll be a good one.

Everyone tells me get it done and I usually push it on to the next day or not do it at all. That's just me and it's not good. Everyone says "Logan, you can do this, you know you can." They're right I do know I can, and they also know that I am the person that usually doesn't. I try every day to stray away from the temptation of every day distractions and issues and it's not fun and it's also very difficult. When life gives you one thing to do it also gives you four times as many distractions. I just don't know how to stay away from them.

So my life in general has had a few hardships as of late. Everyone is mad at me because they know the potential I have and that I'm not using it. Also, the person I have liked for the longest time has decided to go against me for a decision we made a little while ago. I'm in jeopardy of not graduating which sucks. I have really tried being the person everyone believes I am and it's very difficult to do so. Myself, I don't believe in me at all, I feel like no matter what I do it will never be good enough for the three people that I care about; my grandma, my brother, and Sarah. So in general life is not fun although I'm still in high school and I have a bunch of friends. Life supposedly gets worse after graduation and I definitely hope not.

So I'm a senior in high school and it's after Christmas break and I'm getting scared. These are the last few months of school and I won't be in high school anymore. This stinks, no more hanging out with friends, no more sleeping in, no more getting to play sports, and a lot more of work early in the morning. No more fun all day with your friends will be my main worry. No more sleeping in would be the worst really though I don't do well with waking up early in the morning it's not fun at all. Missing out for sports would also not be great although I don't like exercise but I love sports because it gives me an action that works me and it helps me to real ease the tension and anger I hold inside myself all day.

So this week I get to start playing basketball again. The last three weeks I've been ineligible because I made some bad life decisions about my grades and it hurt me and my team. My team had three games during my non playing time and we had 1 loss and 2 wins. The 2 wins we had were against one team and that was space coast christian academy. The 1 loss we had was the same team that we played the first game we lost our first game by 1 and this time we lost by 3. The final score was 33-30 it was a tough game with a lot of fouls and a very poor assist to turnover ratio. The other bad thing was a very poor shooting percentage by both teams. They had more rebounds then we did and made more free throws those are the 2 things that really killed us.

My life in general has been an up and down mess. Sometimes I try to think what if I had my mom and dad, other time I think about what if I was just like my brother, or what if I would just of been the person every one knows I can be. I endure a lot of hurt, pain, and aloneness. In the last three years my life has went downhill and now I want to make a change. The very first thing I am going to do is get my priorities straight and it all starts in this blog right this very moment.

So my team is playing again today, but we aren’t playing just anyone, we are playing Souls Harbour. They are just like any of our other teams except they’re the runner up to us from last years state, so basically they don’t like us much. They also won football state so we all know they have the athletes to compete for this years title. They have a great ball handler at point guard he’s in like 9th grade and makes all of our team look silly. Then they have a 6’5” guy at center which is a few inches taller then everyone else in the league. All together it will still be a close game as long as my team does what we are supposed to do and not throw turnovers then we should win tonight and most likely build ourselves into a championship team.

My second game of the season was against Deltona. They’re starting point guard used to go to the school I go to and that was exciting. I got to play more and I actually scored. I shot 50% from the three point line I made two out of four. Then I made 50% of my free throws one out of two. I had two turnovers and one assist. I don’t remember if I had any fouls but it was really a lot of fun. We blew them out at the end and a lot of our bench players got to play.

My basketball season has been started for two weeks now but we have only been practicing. We won't start games until after the new year. Basketball season should be fun I'm in my senior year and it looks like I'm going to have more playing time. I've been on the team for three years now and I've never started. I've always been one of the last guys on the court because I'm not very good, so unless we are destroying the other team I never get on the court. For the past two years I have been on two state championship teams amd i really haven't contributed. This post's verse is: 2 Timothy 1:17.

So, my grandma got a heartening phone call last night from my mother. My mother followed to tell my grandma that my sister moved out her house. Now most people would think that wasn't a bad thing but my sister is only 15 years of age. Yes my sister has her problems but that does not mean that she needs to live on her own. My sister and I have not really talked to each other for a long time now, most likely because we don't live together. I pray every day that my sister will get her life straight and find a way to go back to my mother's house or cone and live with my grandma and me. This post's bible verse is : Hebrews 13:16
