I want to preface this with I Am Not At Risk Of Harming Myself, This Is A Genuine Question And I Am Aware These Feelings Are Irrational And Should Not Be Acted Upon. that being said: has any system who's body does Not have a history of self harm via cutting, who has an alter who does, miss seeing the scars that the alter has while cofronting with said alter?

i recently split a fictive recently and they have sh scars, i know this because when they split i wanted to hurt myself but not for my normal reasons. i struggle with sh though i don't cut, and haven't since trying to in like middle school, but i get the urge to sh whenever I'm really stressed or overwhelmed or just like experiencing big emotions. that is very normal for me, but that is more seeking the emotional release of sh. the feeling of wanting to cut while they were splitting was less "i need to hurt myself" and more "where the fuck did my scars go?????"
i guess my question is more is this normal, will it go away, and how do i help them be more comfortable in our body

my boyfriend and I are watching my little pony friendship is magic together from the beginning. this is significant because he's never seen in and it used to be my favorite show when I was a child.
yesterday I had the thought there's probably a fictive of one of the main 6 in my head somewhere assuming they haven't been split and fused to hell and back.
I wish I could be in our inner world. I'm getting better and noticing with the dissociation is starting but I can't seem to get myself out of front completely enough to enter our inner world, assuming we have one

I got into a fight with the body's dad yesterday and now in our room making us look more like me. we're supposed to go out with our partner system for lunch later. I don't know how I'm gonna be in the same car as him. I'm not really scared, more dreading it than anything else. I don't even know what caused us to be so angry yesterday. it was just me and the host I think. we think (#host moment)

idk. I wish I could make us look like I actually do cause I hate this body and I don't know how the hosts stands to live in it all the time. like fronting and live in it, cause we all kinda live in it. whatever.
i cut our hair yesterday too. it's a little severe but I think it'll look good when it grows out some.

i hate existing in this body. i hate existing in this house with people I have no feelings towards. i hate that everything I knew was subject to the whims of some depressed fucking eighteen year old loser and now i live in their head. i hate eating, and cleaning, and interacting with people. i hate that I'm gonna have to work another shift at a place WE ALL HATE while responding to the wrong fucking name cause if i told them to call me the right one we'd get looked at like we're fucking insane. i hate constantly getting messages from the """""friends""""" who they don't talk to in a server that none of us want to be in anymore.
the only things i've come to like is cherry dr pepper and weed.

actually so upset about how i can't seem to find good makeup in a color i really like. the host gets purple ish stuff and our foundation and concealer etcetera etcetera; i want Red. DARK RED. as close to #200000 as possible because i went to an online hex code thing and get the exact shade. but no matter where i look it's all dark violet or berry. it's a stupid thing to be upset about and I'm not actually mad i'm just annoyed. bleh.

i love having a partner system and a boyfriend within said partner system. he, my boyfriend, is so sweet and kind to me and we're from the same source so it's made adjusting to being here a lot easier. they, the partner system, are also very kind to us and give us a lot of grace for the way we are.
sometimes i feel like we're one bad day away from walking into the forest and never being seen again. or deliberately burning every single good connection we have to the ground so we could go in peace. it's nice to know that there's someone, their host at very least, who would stay even when we're at our worst. i feel like we have a lot of worsts. but they love us. we love them. i love jack and i know he loves me. this is the first time in a while where everything hasn't been the worst. that makes me feel good.
