Being archon wasn’t easy, especially for a nation corrupted by justice for too long.
Seraph knew it ran deep but trying to weed it out to push their new agenda of protection for the people of Fontaine was always denied by the other governing officials and judges. It didn’t help that they were seen as incredibly weak being a newborn archon and all. Seraph was blessed to have the support of their family, the returning loachfolk and Zyaire.
The dragon adeptus was their shadow through this whole change. Once knowing the Fatui won’t bother them while discovering their powers Seraph emerged from hiding. But now they face a greater enemy, corrupt people in power.
“We can’t just execute anybody we see fit Zyaire, even if everyone is corrupt.” Seraph was tempted to just fire everyone and be the sole ruler but again they knew next to nothing when it came to governing an entire nation.
Reaching out with their organic limb they took their beloved’s hand giving it a squeeze. “Save your strength for those that do pose a threat to me.” These cowering officials were nothing to real threat of Murata coming to visit.
Pyro and hydro’s rivalry ran deep.
