hi! i'm not the best at explaining labels we use but it's basically being cis and trans either both at the same time or fluidly, the nonbinary wiki and/or the lgbtqia wiki pages might explain it a bit better but that's how we'd define it

there can be different reasons for doing so like being intersex (common case of this can be like. having complicated feelings towards their assigned gender for example), being multigender or bigender (like someone identifying as both their assigned gender at birth and a different gender for example), being on the cusp of being cis and trans, not feeling like they fit neatly into a cis/trans binary, etc. i'm definitely sure there's more than this though, it usually depends on the person identifying as such
