train
We would lie on the grass,
The sun blanketing us,
Your arms wrapped loosely around my body,
My head fits the hollow where your neck meets your shoulder,
Butterflies circle as the afternoon drifts.
I would lie on the rail track,
The rain slapping me,
The ghost of your arms wrapped loosely around my body,
My head pinned to the rails,
Crows soar above me as the train engulfs me.
