Sorry for the lack of updates. Woops.

I've been looking for a job lately, and surprise surprise, I just got one! No other details at the moment, but on top of this and my current focus (currently redeveloping @ioharcomic again), I'm not sure when I'll get back to this.

Anyway, perhaps with a more daily routine I could get back with a more consistent update schedule on this. Not making any promises, but it's something I'd like to happen.

The straightsword is the weapon of the refined, of the deliberate and delicate. To hold it is to be careful, to wield it is to be mindful. Do not treat yours as you would treat a paltry twig.

Like a mind reshaping images into word and thought, a master of the straightsword makes use of his tool to arrange his savagery into language, both heard and read. Listen to the sharp metal brush along the wind! Watch it glide and trail the light upon the darkness! When the wind hums, the blade sings! It is the master's prerogative to arrange sound and sight into something greater, something deadlier.

Your metal is a tongue and a brush that shall speak infinite wonders. In this the master is sovereign. A harsh, vulgar tongue is as dull as a rusty cleaver. Thus; beware the soft-handed poets.

O, Lord of Lords, hear my petition And let me defend my master's house. If I miss a visage from afar, let my eyes burn. If I neglect my duty, let my hands wither and burst.
