The Comfort of Small Defeats

It’s really hard to give tumblr up, I’ve had it for like 9 years and I met friends and Glen through here but now most of them don’t use it anymore and I’m so reluctant to delete because of all the cute things I have saved.

Legit I'm such a joke I'm sitting here watching 'Monsters Inside Me' and messaging my drunk friends to be careful and watch their drinks.

So my friends are telling me they're at clubs and stuff and I spent my Saturday making up a photobook of my dog to be printed and planning to buy him a sandpit for his birthday. Fml

Glen and I started watching The Office from the beginning again a little while ago, and tonight we got to the Jim and Pam wedding episode and no matter how many times I see it I will always ugly cry like crazy.

My mum is coming to visit next week and she's going to meet her grand(dog)son for the first time and I'm just so excited! I've been having a bit of a rough time lately and I can't wait to hug her.

I've been up since 4:45 yesterday and I worked open till close because someone called in sick and here I am nearly 24 hours later unable to sleep because this medication I'm on gives me keeps me ridiculously alert.

When you turn 23 it turns out that you have to spend your birthday money on an overdue $95 blood test bill (wtf though seriously, is this a new Liberal government thing because I’ve never had to pay for blood tests ever???) that you had to pay within 14 days, but your boyfriend forgot to tell you that you got mail and it’s been sitting in a pile of stuff for a month. #justlittleadultthings
