Similar to Artimators Infection I'm having fun writing about the event through my character's eyes.
Spoilers ahead as well as warnings for violence
I was warned of the dangers yet I went anyway. Quick words said, sounding like the warnings for any park or attraction. Covering bases, just in case.
I hold my camera up, snapping photos of the show. The lights dim and I watch with a smile on my face as the performance begins. Cheers and clapping fill the tent and I get a few candid shots of the crowd from my seat to the side.
The ghouls show off all the tricks of the game, each card shows such fantastical wonders. They fly in the air like on invisible strings and confetti appears each time one of them poofs from view. The audience gasps but moments later they reappear completely unharmed, all part of the performance.
The next act is one of my favorites, the ringmaster summons her beasts to chase around the rabbit. A crowd favorite really as it always gets a good reaction. The ravager is so adorable and I giggle as I hear the screams and yelling. I forget... I am often mistaken for a rabbit myself.
The creatures rush the stands and I don't even notice till the pain hits sudden and hard. The vex claw and slash me as I try to force a golden apple down my throat, falling from my seat and scrambling away. I don't even have time to leave the stands before I'm blinking my eyes. I'm back on the dock.
I guess this rabbit didn't know how to run... but I will say that I'm ready to have fun.
