Women's Psychology
FACT ONE: Women's brains consist of higher volumes of gray matter in comparison to men. Gray matter is full of information-processing cell bodies which help with decision making and computational thoughts.
Specifically, women have more gray matter dispersed in the hippocampus (memory and emotion), the prefrontal cortex (cognition), and the anterior cingulate cortex (attention and regulation).
Statistically, women have an advantage in verbal episodic memory, decoding social cues and facial expressions, and handling emotional regulation and conflict monitoring.
The Thief of Joy
Comparison, is guilty of theft, yes, but the real thief stems from insecurity. If you weren't insecure, you wouldn't compare yourself to anyone else. Once you grow to love yourself entirely, you won't feel the need to envy anyone else.
Work on yourself. Get yourself to a place you want to be in a healthy way. Know that you are different for a reason and you should celebrate that. Be yourself. Don't be anyone else.
Blame comparison all you want, you are taking your own happiness from yourself. It's all you. Why not give it back? Find yourself in a crowd full of others. Stop comparing.
Declutter
I just did a deep clean of my room and I have never felt better. Decluttering your space declutters your mind. Your environment impacts you so so much both physically and mentally.
As someone with severe depression, my room represents my brain. If it's messy and honestly disgusting, more likely than not I am in the worst headspace one can imagine. For me, just making my bed helps me start off on the right foot. Vacuuming the carpet clears the negative space in my mind. Organizing my desk and shelves distracts me from rotting away. Clean your room. Even if you are lacking the motivation, clean your room.

Leave
Staying in a place that brings you pain will only hurt you more in the future. You are losing the chance to live your life happily. Your family will always be your family, you are allowed to move out of that house. Concerned about money? Save up for a few months and know that money comes back.
You are never going to be truly happy in a place that brings you so much pain. You are allowed to pack your stuff and leave. Find an apartment and a job in another town or state. Be smart with your money and save as much as you can.
Your environment impacts you more than you know. Your body will tell you when the place is right. If it is screaming at you to leave, then leave. The right people will support you. The universe will give back to you for taking that leap. It will work out. You are allowed to leave.
Move Your Body
Your body holds trauma. When we repress our feelings and hold in our thoughts, we store that negativity in our bodies. The first thing you should do when you wake up is move your body. Dance to an upbeat song. Do some yoga and stretching. Go on a walk. Release some tension. Trust me you will see changes to your everyday mood and health.
Always A Bridesmaid
As the chronically single friend, I have experienced the highs and lows of being alone. No one talks about the underlying loneliness that comes with being single. We're taught that we have all the time in the world and to enjoy our young years being single and finding ourselves. But what if I know who I am?
I have loved being single. I have hated it. It comes in oscillations. Some days I can't even stomach the idea of being in a relationship, while other days I plan a wedding that won't happen for a long time.
Dating is hard as the chronic single. You are used to the independence and always feel disappointed when your standards aren't met, but it's not a reason to lower them. Sometimes it's just not the time. Obviously, there is always more that you can learn about yourself. But life feels incredibly empty when you don't have anyone to share it with.
THIS IS NORMAL. Life is hard. Dating is hard. Relationships are hard. And when you have never been in one, it can be challenging and scary. But when you have the opportunity, take it. You won't know what you have found until it is gone, so don't let it go.
In the meantime, find a new hobby, focus on your success, and spend time with your friends. Make sure your life is full before you make those changes.

Women's brains have proven to appear 3 years younger than men's at the same age. Women's brains develop faster than men's and their right and left hemisphere connections are proven stronger.

Why are we always waiting on someone else to do it? We always wait for the perfect relationship or for someone else to buy us flowers. We wait on someone to go on that date or to see that movie. Stop waiting. Buy yourself flowers.

It might seem stupid and annoying, but it helps. It takes two minutes out of your day and I promise you will feel so much better during the day because you got something done. I don't care how lazy you're feeling or how inconvenient it may seem. Make your bed.
Muse Yourself
Consume less and create more. You can be your own muse. The only thing you can control in this world is yourself. Change your habits. Write what you feel. Dress how you want to. Muse Yourself.
Solo Dates
Solo dates are the best thing you can do for yourself. Stop waiting on others to do what you want to do. Go get that coffee, watch that movie, go to that museum. Spend time with yourself. It might be uncomfortable, but it is the best way to learn more about yourself.
