This story is a prequel about how Vargoyle betrayed Scrozzle.

Scrozzle, an alien scientist exiled from his home after an unforgivable accident, roamed the endless void alone—until he built himself a companion: Vargoyle.

The name was borrowed from the one he had killed, out of guilt and remembrance both. Together, they explored the galaxy, creator and creation, bound by friendship that slowly deepened into something neither could define.

But in the silence of the cosmos, betrayal can echo louder than any explosion.

这个故事是power rangers beast morphers的前传故事，讲述石像鬼（Vargoyle）是如何背叛斯卡泽尔（Scrozzle）的。

斯卡泽尔是外星人，在自己的星球上意外杀了个人。他们星球上的法律非常严苛，杀人就要偿命。

为了躲避追捕，斯卡泽尔不得已去宇宙中流浪，但流浪之旅太过孤独。他就给自己造了一个机甲人，叫石像鬼。

这个名字也是斯卡泽尔误杀的那个死者的名字，既是出于愧疚，也是为了纪念。不久他们成为了朋友，一起在宇宙间冒险，感情也越来越好了。

但，意外就在这个时候发生了。
