after the o'connels lost the book of the dead twice the gods were getting irritated && decided to send out anubis to retrieve it. however set had other plans—he wanted to use it to defeat his brother && rule the world. set sent a message for his followers to retrieve him a body to use. to his lucky an young archaeologist showed up && set possessed the young archaeologist with ease–now that set finally had a body to use he just needed to find the book && what better way is to find the o'connels. kill two birds with one stone.

after set killed his brother osiris for the second time, set plotted a plan to rid not only his brother but isis, their son horus && the rest of the gods. set was determined not to be stopped && before they had time to strike back at him, set cast a spell on them using the reality stone ( aether ) to lock his brother, isis && horus inside a black pyramid for all eons that was buried underground afterwards && sealing up all the other gods to their monuments so they can forever watch his reign of terror helplessly. only a handful was spared from his spells–ones that pledged their leadership && life to him. ( sobek, sqet, ect as well as his son anubis. )

once the spells were cast && the gods were locked away set continued his terror on egypt. this went on for several years && no one was there to stop him && the gods were starting to lose hope until anubis–set’s half son couldn’t take the bloodshed && war any longer && escaped egypt–heading to asgard for help. anubis told odin && the asgardians of his step-father’s nightmarish war. telling them that set wouldn’t stop with just their land && soon go after asgard. odin took the warning && agreed to assist anubis && his family into stop set. odin gathered an army && headed to egypt to stop set.

war continued to raged on, asgardian against set && his chaos death army. a few years past && odin was started to underestimate set && his army, if they didn’t think of something soon than they will lose && die. everyone would die–odin was able to think of a new plan && uplift the spell set cast on the gods && freed them from their prisons by stealing the reality stone from set by using anubis as their leader–knowing well that set loved his son despite him not being his blood && has betrayed him more times than set would like without no harm. anubis was able to tricked his father && try to steal the stone however he failed to do so before set realized his betrayal. before set was able to punish his son, odin came && cut his arm off that held the staff && stone. set was able to escape before he was captured or killed by the asgardians tho eventually osiris, isis && horus was also freed from the spell along with the other gods.

altogether they pushed set’s army to surrendering && was able to capture set. without his staff && the reality stone set was no match for odin or osiris–the order was back && osiris was back on the throne once again. set was later sealed away by isis, thoth && frigga as punishment–to a monument to watch helplessly forever just as he did to them.

the asgardians left victorious && egypt was back on the right path—

     —until many years later passed && egypt evolved into the 21st century. scientists && archaeologists were uncovering new tombs && monuments of ancient egypt–set’s being one of them. during discovery of his prison he was released out into the world for his revenge on his family && the asgardians who helped put him into his imprisonment.
