Not a good lady at all

In the off chance I haven’t said so on this blog yet, I plan on deleting this blog and using the email for this blog to possibly start another one at a later date. This decision was made entirely because this blog, barely used and so far PG-13, somehow still got flagged as NSFW which pretty much cuts me off in general don’t it?

Even though it happened when she was five, she wasn’t over how she hurt Professor and tried to ground the Powerpuff Girls. When it came to Professor and hurting him, it was personal to her and the other girls as well. But Bubbles was so close to him, if he got hurt, it hurt her too. She flared her nostrils and crossed her arms. “Just stay away from Professor, Blossom and Buttercup.” That was the best threat she could give, even though it really wasn’t a threat at all. It didn’t help that she looked intimidated, she knew that. The blonde was trying her best to look hardcore but, obviously, that wasn’t working at all.

She couldn’t wait for Blossom and Buttercup for much longer, as much as she really needed them. They were better together. Bubbles has fought alone before. But she wasn’t hardcore Bubbles, which she thought was the toughest side of her. She needed to have confidence…and she didn’t have much of it. She was the crybaby and everyone knew it. “To stop you from possibly destroying Townsville? Yes.” Though Sedusa could probably hide her emotions a lot better, Bubbles couldn’t, especially when it came to fear. 

          He nodded as he listened, corking the wine bottle and setting it on the counter when he’d finished filling the glasses. “It is Townsville, after all. Despite the fact that it is essentially villain central, people still come by the droves to get crushed by monsters and lend their priceless artifacts to a museum with horribly lax security. You never have to lack incentive for long.”

          Mojo carried the glasses over to the seating area, handing one to Sedusa before taking a seat himself, one that left a noticeable distance between them. “But let’s see…what’s happened in your absence?” he mused, taking a sip of his wine. “New police chief…actually two new police chiefs, each as hopeless as the last, really no threat in any way. HIM’s considering opening a second restaurant location on account of business doing so well since they burned down every competitor in a three block radius. The Gangreen Gang disbanded for a while because Ace thought he could make it solo. Big mistake on his part…spent more time in jail solo than he did with the group.” He paused a moment, glass perched on his lips as they formed a wry smile. “Also, Dad is still single.”

“After all this time, you’d think that they’d stop making it so easy for us.” Sedusa was quick to scoff. Maybe too quick for someone who’d been gone for quite some time, but it’s not like there was a shortage of things going on in her absence, if what Mojo was saying had any weight to it.

Oh who was she kidding? He probably wasn’t. How often did he have reason to be anything other than on the level? And while she couldn’t say that about Mojo per se, some of the local crooks were just too damn smug to be dishonest.

And Occam’s Razor. They all sounded far too plausible not to be true.

“He opened a first? Alright the fire seems lacking in surprise. And Ace thought he could make it without his little dolts? The idiot probably couldn’t manage to literally kiss my ass without making it a total clusterfuck much less robbing a bank or running any number of scams. I’m surprised he can get dressed in the morning sometimes!” But he would be stupid enough to try.
