M A R I A (Taylor’s Version)

It’s been a minute. Partially due to traveling and having plans and losing the will to keep up with posting on here (lol). The whole purpose of this was in hopes of being “lurked” by the one and only Taylor Swift and score a special meet and greet I’ve seen so many lucky people get. So I put my hat in the ring and when I did, Taylor seemingly left Tumblr altogether. That shows where I stand on here. Also, Taylor isn’t the girl next door, parasocial friend like she’s always been to me. She’s a billion dollar cooperation that is always doing anything to stay on top. Sorry, but little ole me ain’t coming close to being a lucky fan to meet her one day. Basically those dreams are gone. Not like they were ever going to happen anyway. So I stopped really feeling like a true “Swiftie” lately tbh. But alas, she doesn’t care—and she doesn’t care especially today. As a New Yorker and a fan whose been to MSG multiple times (and apparently saw Taylor on her last performance there at Jingle Ball 2019), it’s both cool and crazy for the alleged wedding to be there. I can’t picture anything to make it so beautiful but I guess I can be surprised. I wasn’t going to pop into the city today in 100 degree weather as much as I would have loved to be in the vicinity of all the drama and action. I feel like, I could be wrong, but I can picture this being SO secretive yet so public, to get everyone even more engaged in their relationship when there’s a documentary that’s dropped explaining everything about this weekend and what’s going on. She wants it a secret to sell the public on the answers we want now. I feel like that’s something Taylor Swift TM would do. An opportunity to sell something and that leads to more music. Just wait! Anyway, I will always be a fan of Taylor’s. Her music and merch and concerts have always meant so much to be. Especially from 2018-2024 and when I was going through tough times. Getting merch is something that always brought me a little excitement and joy. Hopefully I feel the same way I did in that timeframe in the future. But we’ll see where this story goes with her. I will be at the next tour or purchasing the next record anyway.

Rainy Saturday here today. Been wanting to throw on my Midnights cardigan for a while now so today is the day. I’ve only worn Midnights once but I still love this design and the dark navy. Feel like it’s giving my cold, winter and January vibes. I’m SO excited bc I finally got myself a little tree (peep in the back). Taking down the Christmas tree always feels so horrible and now I have this little cutie to put up with my winter decor (and I’m obsessed with it). It’s so small and simple and I love it.

Happy 2026! First coffee time post of the new year. Been busy taking down my Christmas decor which leads to cleaning and organizing which leads to putting up winter/Valentine’s Day decor which leads to buying more decor. Having a little winter collection of decor really helps my seasonal depression when taking down all the cozy, reds, garland and Christmas tree every January. Now I got some snowflakes and snowmen that help get me through the winter months. I’m obsessed.

This year has me wanting to go to SO many concerts and travel more too. Already ( I know I won’t but I’d love to see Ariana on Eternal Sunshine. Wouldn’t hate going to see Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball. Always had an interest in seeing Bruno Mars. Now Harry might have a residency. Chris Stapleton is coming back around. And I’m definitely going to Pitbull. And my old time favs Rascal Flatts are touring). I’m overwhelmed and I have zero tickets.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ONE AND ONLY TAYLOR SWIFT! I hope you have the most wonderful, blissful day celebrating another wonderful year! Got my “Swiftmas” sweater on for Taylor today. I can’t wait to watch The End of an Era and the TTPD set! Still can’t believe I was a small part of the first TTPD show in Paris. Still flexing hard from that. Anyway, happy birthday Taylor! I hope you have the best day! Here’s to hoping one day we can meet and hug and take a cute picture!
