Hi @taylorswift! I hope you are well. It's Rachel and my sister, Nicole @nightskyswift89 I've been meaning to write this post for a while now. Some people have asked me what my username means and I wanted to write about it. 😊💖 My only and younger sister Nicole and I grew up together with your music. I first heard Teardrops on My Guitar when I was in highschool in 2006 and Nicole was six. At the time I was in a relationship with a guy who was controlling and emotionally abusive. He always made fun of me for listening to your music and would try to force me not to. I listened to your music anyways because what kind of person tries to keep you from happiness? 😒 (That relationship is long over thank God) Despite the struggles of growing up in the 90's and 2000's, my sister and I formed a close bond with your music. We would jam to all your hits at home with the volume up super high, in the car on long or short road trips, in the back yard by bonfires, and while hanging out with friends. 🎶 Being an older sister meant that I really wanted someone positive and inspiring for my younger sister to look up to. I wanted her to feel confident, strong, and able to SHAKE OFF anything that came her way. While your music helped me through the ups and downs of life like anxiety, college, breakups, death etc...it also brought us closer as siblings. 💕 You showed us both how to be strong, unstoppable women in a rather challenging world. We grew up together with you and are so proud of how far you've come. So, I chose my username for the two people in my life that mean a lot to me. You, Taylor, and my sister Nicole who I love so dearly. Thank you so much for everything! We love you so much! 💖💖💖 @taylornation
