a. violating the privacy, work, or peace of others by reblogging stolen porn and/or creepshots. there's gray areas; it's certainly fun to collect and pass around content online and not everything is perfectly sourced. that doesn't make it ok to take money out of sex workers' pockets. and it's never ok to be passing around people's sfw instagram pictures or whatever in a fetish space. this behavior is not much better than taking upskirt pictures and sending them to your friends as far as i can tell. i think people behaving like this is a scourge on this scene :) it's not harmless :) :)

b. alignment with birthdayboyism/transmasc grievance 'politics' aka transmisogyny dressed up as "theory"

it is flattering that other tme trans people sometimes think im hot or aspirational in some way on here (lol) but i gotta say many of you piss me off. this isn't directed at anyone specific who follows me (that I know of as of now!!!!) and im also not claiming to be some perfect person.

trans women and tma trans people in general do not have structural power over tme trans people. yes even those tma people you don't like/who don't like you. even those who don't like tme trans people in general! i am addressing this point specifically to other tme trans people because that's my own positionality and im upset by behavior I see from other tme trans people on this website every single time I am here. make no mistake cis people (who are also tme!) are not off the hook; it's just not personal to me in the way transmisogyny from other tme trans ppl is. I'm reading totally innocuous seeming posts as dogwhistles and usually if i dig into it i was right to be concerned! i have no tolerance whatsoever for transmisogyny.

c. following while totally unwilling to give even the slightest hint there is a person behind the blog i understand the desire to lurk and be left alone ≠ a 'dangerous person'. there's also so much you can never know about someone else online/much you can't actually control about how others interact with you online. and yet, I shudder to think about exposing anyone i reblog to shitty internet fetish scene creeps by being too lax about who's here, so you gotta give me some kind of reason to believe that you are an adult sentient entity. tumblr is not now and has never been a 'safe' place.
