When I saw that moment in their love scene for the first time, I took Jon's look as one of disbelief and awe like 'I can't believe I'm making love to this girl'. I think after Ygritte, Jon didnt think he would find love again, but he did. And he's only made love one other time, so Dani is the only other person and this is the only other time he has had sex. So it's a big deal, which makes the way he looks at her so much more meaningful. The love is so clear in his eyes when he pauses and looks at her.
