Oh, I’m not ignoring that. I know this will be difficult for you to grasp, but occasionally people are willing to put up with things they don’t like if gets them what they need.

I'm familiar with the concept, actually. Though of course a lot of it, at least on my part involves compulsion and so I've no need to put up with them for long. And, usually people aren't willing to put up with the bodies piling up. I guess the saying is true; desperate times do call for desperate measures.

The reality will never involve me taking up knitting, so I guess you'll be sticking to your ridiculous version for quite a while. The fact that I gain great pleasure from slaughtering many morois, dhampirs and let's not forget humans.

And there you go turning the creepy factor up to a thousand. I’ve accepted it but that doesn’t mean I want it on my mind all the time. You’re overestimating your charm because I’m not going to be disappointed.

Or, just the reality factor. That doesn't sound like acceptance, at least not with the other comments. It's not about the charm, but your insistence on ignoring the facts.

Somehow I think finding someone to play board games with is easier done than what you have in  mind. And I don’t care to call it such. This relationship is founded on my ability to ignore things I don’t like and calling it a hobby forces me to acknowledge it.

Not necessarily, no one has to consent to what I have in mind. You'd do better just accepting it, rather than ignoring it. It sure would bring a lot less disappointment.

You could always find something to help instead. You know… take up board games or knitting or a hobby in general?

Don't board games require company too? Nevertheless, they aren't as thrilling as the games I like to play. I have a hobby, if you care to call it such.

Interesting is one way to put it. Terrifying would be another.

And yet here I am, thoroughly useless and with my free will intact. I’m not saying it’s anything other than what it is, boredom and a change of pace, but it sounds like your rule isn’t so much a rule as it is a guideline.

You're using the term useless loosely; you simply have yet to be of use but there may be a time where that ceases to be true. And, I'd never said it was either of the two.
