Since the beginning, it was you and Bryce. From the second you saw that long dirty blonde hair. Everything from that moment on, just clicked. Like how during the ice breaker you kept picking the same answers, or how you stood behind his door. Everything just lined up.
Your mind had been eaten alive by the sudden coming of casa amor, it felt like it came too fast, you weren't ready to sleep in bed with someone else, you didn't even get to say goodbye to Bryce.
You slept with a pillow between you and one of the casa amor guys, falling asleep took forever, once things were quiet and you were stuck in your own mind all you could think about was Bryce, was he cuddling another girl? Kissing another girl? Would he bring her back? Was he making her heart shaped food too? The thoughts quite literally consumed you.
Or what if he had been voted off, what if he couldn't find a connection in there? It was all far too much.
You refrained from kissing other guys outside of challenges, you still explored, just not with your lips. At this point in the experience, it was just basic respect to not kiss someone outside of your connection. You and Bryce were coupled up from the start, which was four weeks ago. This was really the final test.
Early in the day Melanie received a text saying the guys were coming back to the villa today. You felt like you couldn't think straight all day, you weren't prepared for him to walk in holding another girls hand, you also weren't prepared for the possibility of him being voted off.
You got ready for the night in pretty much silence, the girls around you chatted but it felt muffled, you stared into your own reflection as you subconsciously did the familiar makeup routine. You put on the best outfit you had, you did your hair curled in a half up half down (Or whatever works for your hair type <3!) You walked down those stairs with your head held high.
You sat at the fireplace and were greeted by Ariana, she asked about the week you had and then announced that you could either stay in your pre-villa couple or in the casa amor couple. If you chose to stay in your pre-villa couple and they didn't choose the same, you would be single and vulnerable.
Your heart raced as you and the other girls chose your answer, you of course chose to stay with Bryce, no connection from casa amor hit the way yours did with Bryce.
The wait for him to walk in was painful, you couldn't fully focus on what the other people were saying to their couples, you just knew there were some smiles and some tears.
Finally, your name was called. "Y/n, please stand up." Ariana said, her tone filled with suspense. You stood up, your legs felt like they were going to collapse. "How are you feeling?" She asks.
You take a deep breath in, not completely sure how you were feeling. "Um, I'm really nervous but I know that I'm confident in our couple and I hope that he feels the same." You announce.
Ariana presses her lips in a slight smile, "Alright, the moment of truth." She says, turning to the villa entrance and waiting for Bryce's arrival. It felt like he was walking as slow as possible, your heart raced, tears already filling in your eyes.
Then, the familiar blonde hair shows itself, Bryce walks in, his eyes filled with curiosity as to if you were standing coupled up or not, the two of you locked eyes together, the realization hit that the both of you waited for each other. Your head falls back with relief as he speeds his walking up, he comes and stands by Ariana. "Bryce, I see you've come back alone." Ariana says, her smile big. Bryce laughs, "Yeah" He replies.
"Tell us why you decided to come back alone." She says, giving the floor to Bryce. "I just feel like the whole time that we were separated all I could think about was her and if she was being taken care of. I didn't even care if she was finding someone else, I just wanted to know that her eggs and coffee were made the right way and no matter who I talked to at casa nobody understood me the way she did, nobody made me laugh the way she did, nobody made me nervous like she did. Nobody was Y/n and that's why I came back alone.
"That's very sweet Bryce," Ariana says with a warm smile, "As you see, Y/n is also alone. Y/n, please tell us why you decided to stay in your couple." Ariana says.
"No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get him off my mind, the thought of him being with another girl made me feel sick and it made me feel even sicker that I wasn't sharing a bed with him. He really knows how to make me feel special and he's truly shown me that there is someone out there for me and it's him. I'm so grateful to be in this couple and it's something I could never take for granted." You announce.
"Well, the both of you have decided to remain in your original couple. Bryce, you may go get your girl."
Everyone watched as Bryce ran back up to you, scooping you by the waist and holding you in a tight hug. There was never a doubt in the villa from your couple, all the stars aligned, you were always going to be Bryce's girl.
