Stuff that I Like

This is an anti loki series blog so don't follow me if you're a fan of the show and if anything I actually hated the series for ruining said title character that I'm pretending that it never existed.

I'm also not a huge fan of the FF7 Advent Children movie because the overall plot was confusing for me that I'm more solely focused on the main games instead of the film.

I find it genuinely messed up that Jenova will forever continue to use Seph as her host body and he'll never truly be free of her even in death.

With part 3 underway, I think Lucrecia might receive a lighter punishment from the Planet itself, because are we still going to assume that she'll still be encased in Crystalized Mako for seemingly all of eternity?

The entire plot practically began with her terrible decisions that once she realized her mistake and found that it was too late for her to fix it, she chose to hide herself in a cave so as to not face the consequences of her actions, which is a pretty cowardly move even for her.

She became suicidal that the Jenova Cells prevented her from dying which only made her even more pathetic, especially since being trapped in crystal for a majority of the compilation also meant that she was completely unaware of all the tragedy caused by the corrupt company she once worked with, the mad scientist that had turned her child into an experiment/weapon, and the parasitic alien that have been the root of all the suffering.

If Jenova is in fact aware of multiple timelines where nearly all of them involve Cloud defeating Sephiroth in every world, she would soon realize that Cloud has always been stronger than Seph to which she then makes him her new "chosen son" completely abandoning Seph as a result.

Considering Ultimecia (ff8) and Cloud of Darkness (ff3) are literally the only two female villain representatives in the mainline games, I'm calling it out that it's possible that she'll be the true final boss of Part 3 after the battle with Safer Sephiroth.

Also she emanates strong Mother Gothel and Agatha Harkness vibes.

Canon Jenova: A manipulative parasite that latches onto Sephiroth like a leech even in death

With a handful of fanarts and comics that I've seen her depicted in, it's rare to find any content of her clearly only using Seph or treating him like a slave.

In fact they are both somewhat parallel to Fizzarolli and Mammon from Helluva Boss with both Jenova and Mammon are selfish narcissists who are clearly manipulating/exploiting Fizz and Seph for their own benefit as well as having the "made into their image" concept of acting like the perfect parent.

Three things that make me genuinely upset/uncomfortable in FFVII both canon and fandom.

Aerith's D**th - I've honestly grown sick and tired that this was treated as a joke for so long, practically made into a meme from so many fan content like fanart, comics, animations, etc. that it's not even funny at all, not to mention that Rebirth completely butchered that iconic scene.

P****t Cloud - I have Pupaphobia so the entire concept itself deeply disturbs me on a profound scale that it's sometimes treated to be s*xual in fanfics.

Sephiroth's R**nants - It really just didn't sit well with me on how he splits his soul into three pieces of himself as a last ditch attempt to destroy the world, they were mostly forgotten characters that never reappeared in any canon installment aside from spinoffs, also they were annoying anyway so I was never a huge fan of them and the movie itself.

Spoilers of my favorite moments

As in literally him being treated like an oversized Barbie doll/Mannequin.

I mean considering that we get to see him in so many new outfits/costumes from spinoffs (Ever Crisis and Dissidia Duellum) like the literal fashion diva that he is, it's honestly quite funny and his long hair is literally perfect for trying out different hairstyles.

I can imagine Cloud being the one to style him up since he himself was in a dress once so it's no surprise that he would be curious enough to imagine what kind of outfits and hairstyles that would fit Seph.

Belos and Jenova:
