They are trying to raise enough to cover essentials and rent for a place to stay while he recovers from injuries sustained in the fire. creations-by-chaosfay is raising funds for veterinary care for her cats; Cacoa is 15 and needs dental work, and Jasper is 13 and needs to have the lump in his side seen to. Recurring Needs:
Stacie is raising funds to help cover ongoing insulin treatment; because of the severity of her condition, without insulin she would end up very shortly in a diabetic coma; insurance is covering some, but not all, and $1800 a month is a lot for medication. Katy linked to grrlcookery, who is raising funds for car repair, plus rent arrears and moving; they have managed to take care of a good deal of the arrears on rent but still need to move, and it will be a while before their small business is self-sufficient, especially since a contract was postponed.
