Age regression is a coping mechanism where an individual mentally reverts to younger than their given age, used to deal with anxiety, depression, ptsd, and other stressors. Age regression is always SFW (safe for work) and is never N5FW (not safe for work).

CG1, DD1G, MD1B and variants are not age regression, they are age play. Age play refers to an adult individual pretending to be a younger age (usually, but not always) for their or their partner/s’ pleasure. Age play is a k1nk and therefore always N5FW, and is never SFW.

CGLRE is a community made up of age regressors (who may call themselves littles) and their supportive partner/s (Caregivers, who may be called nicknames like Mommy or Daddy). CGLRE is not a subset of cg1 and is not k1nk. CGLRE *is* a subset of age regression and is therefore always SFW and never N5FW.
