That’s until a patients dad gets frustrated with how Emma is talking to the young boy and punches Emma in the face, Emma immediately crumbles and joy who witnesses the entire thing immediately screams for help.

Dana rushes in to find her little lamb on the floor, blood rushing out of her nose.

Without thinking Dana picks Emma up, gets her to the nurses station for a check up and in front of everyone, kisses Emma to calm her down, everyone is shocked and doesn’t really know what to say/do.

The pitt crew (trinity, Whitaker, Victoria and Cassie) are going out for brunch on a rare day off and spot Dana and Emma.

They don't know they are dating and are very confused when Emma stands on her tippy toes, kisses Dana and grabs Dana’s bank card to buy herself a drink.

They immediately leave and find another spot as they don't want to cause drama and need a place to discuss what they just saw.

Emma coming in a few minutes late with coffee for both of them from the Starbucks across the road.

Doing her charting on Dana’s computer.

Getting all the best cases as she literally just follows Dana everywhere and helps with whatever Dana needs.

Being Dana’s personal assistant.

Giving Dana neck massages during stressful shifts.

It’s all going well and Eileen is actually enjoying Cassie’s company when Victoria makes the mistake of saying “hey daddy can you” and both Raymond and Cassie turn to look at Victoria at the same time.

Now Eileen is absolutely crashing out while Raymond is completely oblivious as to what’s going on and needs this whole “daddy” thing explained.

Imagine if Victoria’s mother gets home early to find Victoria and Cassie in vics bed fucking poor Eileen almost faints.

Emma’s parents coming up to Pittsburgh to see Emma and use life360 to locate her, they find Emma at the mall with this older woman and are absolutely baffled when this older woman kisses Emma and tells her what a cute little lamb she is. 

Neither parent knows what to do.

Hands Dana back her card and thanks her for buying them drinks.

The day shift are shocked when Dana kisses her, thanks her little lamb for getting her coffee and then heads off to deal with patients.

They immediately message their dad with a photo of the kiss asking Benji if they know about this mystery woman.

Benji is clueless and they plan an intervention to question Dana who then has to admit that she is dating someone younger than her daughters.

Cassie is a mommy/daddy. Depends on her mood and what Victoria needs in that moment.

Dana is a mama/mommy. No ounce of daddy in her whatsoever. Emma loves her mommy/mama

Baran is mostly a mommy but occasionally a daddy. She just knows that Trinity needs a mommy most of the time so runs with it to keep her girl happy.

She drives over to the house and knocks on the door, Cassie opens the door and is incredibly shocked to find Victoria’s mum standing there.

When Dana returns home trinity makes the mommy joke again and dana starts blushing before threatening to smack the girl.

Trinity finds this entire thing hilarious and begins teasing Emma at work “oh does your mommy need you” “did you buy mommy coffee before work”

I’m imagining Robby yelling at Dana telling her how inappropriate it is while Dana brings out the hospital rules and explains that it’s all technically legal and fine much to his dismay.

He opens the door using his old key and finds a 20 something half naked on the couch.

Dana comes out and goes “Emma baby come back to bed, mama needs cuddles”

They all slowly began to realise what’s going on and poor Benji almost has a heart attack.

Victoria wakes up the next morning and hears Dana telling Emma “you will wear this little lamb” while Emma enthusiastically agrees and thanks Dana for being such a good girlfriend to her.

Victoria heads home more confused and doesn’t know who to talk to about this.
